I felt I needed to leave a review, on my dogs' behalf, as they cannot type!!
After what can only be described as a very unpleasant experience with a previous boarding kennels, it took me 3 years to take the plunge, and trust another one with my fur kids. However, all the worrying was for nothing!! It is crystal clear, that the owners and staff, truly understand animals and are passionate about giving them all the care, attention and love they would get at home. Never seen my dogs so happy at a kennels! They were wagging their tails, and clearly very very comfortable with the staff. So happy to have found you, Corner Cottage, thank you so much for taking care of my hounds - they will be back!!

My girl Nala stayed here for 10 days in August. This was her first time away from home. Everything running up to the stay was great. Any questions I had were answered. I received a video of how Nala was settling in and getting on. Thank you for making her stay a welcome one. Definitely will be using your 'home' again. Thank you

Steve is always friendly and professional. He's been absolutely brilliant introducing our nervous puppy into the world of grooming, including ear cleaning and claw clipping (the full works). Steve will discuss what we are hoping for and also the best options for our 'farm' based cavapoo. She always smells great and looks lovely when we go to collect her, I think she actually quite enjoys the dryer! 😝

Highly recommend Steve, he will always do what's best for our pup and wouldn't trust her with anyone else now!

Our spaniel Milo had a super grooming session in the salon this week. Steve did a fabulous job and left him looking very handsome. Steve is highly skilled and I would recommend him to all.

Our dog Poppi has been groomed at the kennels for six years plus and has always come home looking her best. She is a dog who struggles with dog crates but this has always been no problem for the staff and they have found ways of making her happy whilst keeping her safe. I cannot praise Steve enough. From her visit to her next she is always happy to be left as she trusts the staff. She has also been in the kennels absolutely 5 star. She looked happy and was clean when we collected her. You could see she had developed a good trusting relationship with the staff. Would recommend to anyone who are looking for a kennels that look after your dog then this is the one. The fact it’s not huge and family run is a plus plus for us as we can go away with our minds at rest knowing Poppi will be cared for by lovely people.

This has been the best experience I have had with a boarding kennels. Took my two Labradors and they have loved it. Came home with no stress issues and clean as a whistle. Taking them back again end of June 2022 for another lovely stay. Quick drop off and collection. 5* PLUS

First time away for our old Chihuahua, so was a little apprehensive, despite him being very happy to have his nails clipped by them in the past, and hearing great things from several friends about the boarding side of things. He was obviously so well cared for; fit, happy and 'bouncy'. I would have no hesitation in sending him back, or recommending them to other dog owners.

After been away for 2 weeks over Christmas. Came back to pick my English bulldog up and he was happy and excited and well taken care of.They went the extra mile with his grooming and his needs.The staff were so friendly.Will definitely use again and will recommend to all our friends and family. I have two Bichon Frise named Bella & Beanie,
They have both never been in a kennel before, and we were due to fly out to Croatia for our daughter’s wedding.
After contacting Trudie at Corner Cottage, we were put at ease straight away, they were so friendly and then we visited them and again felt at ease.
I’ve just picked the girls up, and was so so happy, because they were really happy and it was clear they had been very well cared for.
I would have no hesitation to bring Bella and Beanie here in the future, and to recommend them to all I know. Thank you
